En effet, Le Mali se retire de tous les organes et instances du G5 Sahel , y compris la Force conjointe.
Selon un communiqué officiel lu à la télévision publique ce dimanche soir, le Mali décide de se « retirer de tous les organes et de toutes les instances du G5 Sahel instrumentalisé par les puissances étrangères », indique les militaires au pouvoir.
Le Gouvernement malien rejette fermement l’argument d’un Etat membre du G5 Sahel qui avance la situation politique interne nationale pour s’opposer à l’exercice par le Mali de la présidence du G5 Sahel.
En effet, aucun texte juridique du G5 sahel ne prévoit des restrictions contre un Etat membre, sur la base de sa situation politique nationale.
En la matière, aucune disposition des textes de cette Institution ne prévoit qu’elle puisse également endosser des sanctions ou restrictions édictées par d’autres organisations à l’endroit d’un Etat membre.
En conséquence, le Gouvernement de la République du Mali décide de se retirer de tous les organes et instances du G5 Sahel, y compris la Force conjointe.
